Superintendent's Message Dear Friends: let me highly commend each of you who have made contributions toward the publication of this unique yearbook. This is a most attractive edition and it certainly makes one want to review each page. This publication summarizes the activities of the school and presents pertinent information which reflects the continued growth of your school. You are to be warmly complimented on making it possible for the people in your community to take a look at the many educational activities sponsored during the 1964-1965 school year. It is earnestly hoped that this pictorial history of some of the highlights of the year’s events may point out pleasurable memories and visible marks of progress and achievements. The word “time” changes in meaning as it passes in the lives of each individual. While one is very young, time may seem an eternity between holidays of Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter and summer vacation. As the child grows older, begins to mature and assume more responsibilities, time begins to gain momentum in its swift passage. Members of the senior class of 1965 now realize the brevity of the past four years as the great day for commencement is so near at hand. So will be your life after high school - the swift passing of time marked by key events in your future. We feel sure you will be equal to the task that TIME brings into your future if you will show the same loyalty and good spirit that you have demonstrated in your last year at A.H.S.
