IOHN Kayo STACK had the dogwatch as a member of the Program Committee, Letter Men's Club, Basketball Team, and the Ser- geant-at-Arms of the Senior Class. WILLIAM VAUGHN STIEBER scored a hit in the Hi-Y, Officers' Club, Presi- dent of the Spanish Club, Bowling League, Swimming Team, and as a member of the Marshals' Club. IACK STOFFEL wielded the oars in the German Club, French Club, R.O.T.C., Honor Society, Gift Committee, and as an Election Commissioner. - DOROTHY STUPP whistled for a wind in the Mixed Chorus, G.A.A., ln- tramural Sports, Social Committee, and a member in good standing oi the Iota Chapter of the S.G.C. BLANCHE SUCHAK sailed through the mine fields and dodged the many torpedoes which arose in S.G.C. activities. and S.G.C. EVELYN THEOBOLD was never too tar away to be found by the Sigma S.G.C,, Latin Club, G.A.A., or the Hall Guards. Tommy or MARILYN THOMP- SON gladly rode the waves in the G.A.A., Tau S.G.C., Latin Club, Span- ish Club, Log Staff, Letter Girls' Treasurer. ALICE TIDEMAN had a corking good time as a member of the Red Cross, S.G.C., G.A.A., Student Council, and Viking. RICHARD TREMULIS kept bobbin' up While in the Officers' Club. DORIS TROESTER packed her troubles aside while being in the G.A.A,, Mixed Chorus, Girls' Chorus, Bowling Team, Intramural Sports, S.G.C., and College Day Committee.

Sailing up the coast was ELSIE SAKAS as a member of the G.A.A., the Greek Club, and the S.G.C. DOLORES Cookie SALEMI sailed straight through the channel markers of Zeta S.G.C., the G.A.A., and the Student Council. A boilermaker, ROGER SANDERS or Bugs, joined the gang in the Band and Orchestra, Pan-American Club, Hall Guards, and the R.O.T.C. MARGARET SCANLON took on provisions from the Zeta Senior Girls' Club, G,l-LA., Office Staff, and Hall Guards. IACK SCHMID allowed the reliable North Star to guide him through the dark sea of the Wrestling Team. WILLIAM SCHMIDT rnade 3U knots through the choppy seas ot the Drum and Bugle Corps, Hall Guards, Commissioned Officers' Club, Competitive Platoon, R.O.T.C. LOUISE SCHROETER may have been a liberty hound, but she did her best in the G.A.A., S.G.C., and Intramurals. SHIRLEY SCHULZ followed the compass that pointed to the G.A.A., German Club, and the Sigma Chi Chapter of the S.G.C. LOIS SCHULZE was the bumboat for the National Honor Society, German Club, Bowling League, Prom Committee, and the Kappa S.G.C. GLADYS SCHWEER sailed through the narrow channel in the Riding Club, Splashette, Latin Club, G.A.A., and the S.G.C. WILLIAM SCHWERTFEGER cut a square job in the Spanish Club, Boys' Chorus, Intramural Sports, Track Team, and the Baseball Team. Tooting her whistle was ELEANOR SEIF in the German Club, Honor Society, Girls' Chorus, Bowling League, and the S.G.C. Bootblack or IACK SHABAZ took French leave in the German Club, Boys' Chorus, Clean-up Committee, Program Committee, and Football. EILEEN Windy SHERLOCK increased speed through the Bowling League, G.A.A., Honor Society, Splashettes, and the Beta S.G.C. BETTY SLACK made for the shores of the Spanish Club, Honor Society, G.A.A., S.G.C., Bowling League, Hall Guards, and Intramurals. CHARLES SMITH caught the life-line when he joined the Spanish Club, Bowling League, and Intramural Sports. SHIRLEY SNOW spooned on in the G.A.A., Riding Club, Bowling League, French Club, as a Viking Rep- resentative, and a member of the Alpha S.G.C. ROSEMARY SPANIER broke the ice in the National Honor Society, Latin Club, Drama, Viking, Clean-up Committee, and the S.G.C. CHRIST ULRICH. Rank hath its privileges, so Chris was in Offi- cers' Club, Lt. Col. R.O.T.C., Rifle Team, Treasurer German Club, President Prom Committee, Pin and Ring Committee, Chemistry Club, Honor Society. EVELYN UNTERREINER was termed Evie while in the Bowling Club, S.G.C., G.A.A., Intramural Sports, German Club, and Girls' Chorus. FRANCES VALOS sped through the sea of Student Council, Greek Club, Hall Guards, S.G.C., Girls' Chorus, Intramural Sports, Red Cross Vicel President and Treasurer, and G.A.A. WILLIAM VAN HOUGHTON kept propelling through despite the ice floats and icebergs of the Spanish Club, and the R.O.T.C. BESSIE VASILAKOS never missed her step in the riggings of the good ship Amundsen, and always kept on the sunny side of the ship in the G.A.A. and the S.G.C. TULLA VAVUL crammed the stokers for full speed ahead in the G.A.A., S.G.C., Greek Club, Red Cross, and the Clean-up Campaign. PARKER VEVANG didn't have time for Bull Sessions while in the Hi-Y, Hall Guards, Football, and Intramural Sports. IOHN VIDLUND cleaned the barnacles oft the hull of Amundsen while being busy in R.O.T.C. and Hall Guard duties, GLORIA VILLWOCK crowded the sails by being in the German Club, S.G.C., Mixed Chorus, Intramurals, and as G.A.A. Vice-President. ANDREW VOISARD didn't meet the brig While in Intramural Sports, Hi-Y, French Club Treasurer, Student Council, A Club, Baseball, and Tennis. DOLORES WAGNER traveled through seas while in the German Club, Bowling League, President Service Girls, Red Cross, President S.G.C. Council. MARY IANE WAGNER traveled her course through the Record Office, and the Latin Club. DOROTHY WEISGERBER found fair weather in the G.A.A., Bowling League, German Cub, Band, and Intramural Sports. MARILYN WEISS manned the sails while in S.G.C., G.A.A., Mixed Chorus, German Club, Intramural Sports, Hall Guards, and Division Secretary. PATSY WEISS bowled us over while in Tri-Hi-Y, Latinand French Clubs, G,A.A., S.G.C., Bowling, Chorus, and Hall Guards. Charting MILDRED WERNER'S course we find that the G.A.A. was her main interest. IOHN WHEELER swung alongside to be on deck for the Drum and Bugle Corps, the Hi-Y, and tried not to be a land-lubber in the Spanish Club.
