ART MANN scuttled everything for the Football Team, Intramural Sports, German Club, Nominating Committee, Hi-Y, Letter Men's Club, and Ser- geant-at-Arms of the Class. IOE MARSHALL clipped the waves when sailing through R.O.T.C., Band, Latin Club, Prom Committee, Hi-Y, and Clean-up Committee. NOLA MARTIN went out with the tide and on her way met members of the Spanish Club, G.A.A., Hall Guards, and the Bowling League. SIDNEY MARTIN hung on tight to the rope to be a member of the Spanish Club, Clean-up Committee, Intramural Sports, R.O.T.C., and Football. LORAINE MARTINSON kept close to the sail to see the G.A.A., L.G.C., French Club, Splashettes, and as Vice-President ot the National Honor Society, and Library Staff. WILLIAM Charlie MCCARTHY was in ship- shape when sent abroad to join the Hi-Y, Wrestling, Soccer, and Intra- mural Sports. Clean-up Committee. mural Sports. DON MEEHLEIS looked through the porthole to find his position in his round of Intramural Sports IOAN MEHAN or Pipsqueak let the ship sail through m the GA A SGC and on the IOSEPH MEHAN came alongside the dock for the French Club Honor Society, Student Council, College Day Committee as a Viking Represen tative, and on the Amundsen Cadet WILLIAM MEINHARDT caught the lite preserver tor the German Club Honor Society Football Team and Intramurals. VIOLET MEISTER made good time ln the SGC GAA and on the Graduation Committee MARY MELE bounded up the gangplank and safely came into the S G C G.A.A., French Club, Bowling League L1brary Statf and Hall Guards MARION MENAS avoided the shoals and came safely into the SGC G.A.A., Program Committee Log Staff Greek Club ROBERT MENICK kept things splashing in the Spanish Club as its President and in Intra CARL MERRIFIELD looked to the br1dge for signals in the Student Coun I cil, French Club, Honor Society and in Intramural Sports BETTY MEYER climbed on board the ship to get to the GA A Bowling League Letter Girls' Club, German Club, and Intramural Sports IOHN MEYER let the i bells ring and came out for the German Club Mixed Chorus Baseball

PATRICK LECTURE kept his shipmates smiling when out for the Track, Football, Wrestling, and Intramural Sports. WILLIAM LEIDER. Bill was always below deck to help keep the pins up on the alley for the Bowling League. FRANCES LEISTEN was in no mist in the Honor Society, Library Staff, Girls' Chorus, and a member of the Tau Chapter of the S.G.C. CAROLINE LEITER cruised along in the French Club as President, G.A.A. President and Vice'President, and L.G.C. Vice'President. ARNOLD LEWAND manned the guns in the Letter Men's Club, Amundsen Hi-Y, Intramural Sports, Boys' Chorus and the Wresting Team. had good luck with the weather in the Riding Club, Girls' Club, G.A.A., and the S.G.C. FLORA LEWIS Chorus, French PAUL LIEBMANN skimmed the foam in the Officers' Club, Rifle Team, Viking Representatives, and R.O.T.C. Paper quietly with a smile Was MARIORIE LIND in the Girls' Chorus, and S.G.C. IIM LOMAX. Whitey was on top Honor Society, Staff. Helping Chorus, Mixed in the Student Council, Intramural Sports, Spanish Club, Wrestling Team, and as a member of the I-li-Y. IERRY LOOSEVELT held tight to the mast in the Alpha Tri-Hi-Y, Girls' and Mixed Choruses, G.A.A., Splashettes, Intramural Sports, College Day Committee, and Bowling League. ANN LOPOTKO let her colors show in the G.A.A., Honor Society, S.G.C., Chorus, Pin and Ring Committee, and Prom Committee. ERNIE LOPRICH needed no shoving in the Boys' Chorus, LOG Representatives, and Football. Ay! X1 , 1 'MMU I' J 'aff .Q , ,fi 0 . ROBERT LUECHT beached his troubles for the cares of the Student Coun- cil, Visual Education Department, and Hall Guard. VIRGINIA LUNDBERG met the ocean traffic in the G.A.A., and the S.G.C. ROY MAGNUSON sailed through with fair weather in the Boys' Chorus, Clean-up Com- mittee, and as a member of the Student Council did fine work. ROBERT MAKINSON kept everyone happy when making sketches for the Log and Viking. LOUELLA MALMQUIST shimmied up the mast in the Red Cross, Student Council, G.A.A., Graduation Committee, I..G.C., French Club, and President of the Iota Chapter of the S.G.C. Rifles Christ Ulrich IOSEPHINE MICHONSKI got the signals to go ahead in the Bowling League, G.A.A., S.G.C., and on the College Day Committee. IAMES MILFORD locked the hatch to everything, but when it came to the R.O.T.C., Clean-up Committee, Honor Society, Nominating Committee, Latin Club, Mixed Chorus, and Log, it opened. GUY MILLARD kept busy in the National Honor Society, Latin Club, on the Graduation Committee, as a Log Representative, in the Band, Orches- tra, R.O.T.C. Officers' Club, Competitive Platoon, Rifle Team, and German Club, DOROTHEA MILLER earned all her stripes in the Bowling League and the G.A.A. RALPH MILLER was deep in a sea of action when drifting through the harbors leading to the Volleyball Team of Intramural Sports. ROSE MINASIAN was always on the spot to help the crew of the French Club, the G.A.A., and in the Bowling League and Mixed Chorus. MARILYN MINCK let the current guide her in the G.A.A., German Club, S.G.C. Sigma Chi, and as a Hall Guard. I-'RED MITCHELL couldn't be left behind as a member of the Band, R.O.T.C. Officers' Club, Clean-up Committee, Latin Club, Football Team, and as Editor of R.O.T,C. Paper. ROBERT Moose MOCKLER had a hard time but kept awake in Intra- murals, Log Staff, German Club. , BESSIE MOOSES looked to the crow's nest for word in the G.A.A., Greek Club, French Club, and as Secretary of her S.G.C. Chapter. PAT MORAN met both the wind and rcdn sailing through the S.G.C., G.A.A., and Bowling League. ELAINE MOREY kept her buttons shined and Wore her stripes in the Girls' Chorus and S.G.C. LOIS MORGAN kept smiling through thick and thin as Assistant Editor of the Viking, Vice-President S.G.C., National Honor Society Secretary, Spanish Club Treasurer, Nominating and Program Committees, Bowling League. NORMAN MORK was always at the front in the R.O.T.C., French Club, and as a Hall Guard, RUBY MORRIS shifted her sails in the G.A.A., Drama Club, and S.G.C. WILLARD Moon MUELLER knew the score when it came to the Basket- ball Team, lntramurals, Letter Men's Club, Boys' Chorus, and Baseball Team. EARL MULLIN steered clear of stormy weather in the German Club, Alpha Hi-Y, Intramurals, and as Football Water Boy. ART NELSON always made good time in the Student Council, Camera Club, German Club, Rifle Team, and Officers' Club.
