ALBERT CONRAD won his service stripes through hard work on the Log Staff, in the German Club, Honor Society, and an active role in Intra- murals. HARRY CONSTANTINE, called Connie by all who know him, steamed ahead through the Latin Club, Band, Honor Society, Intramural Sports, as a Hall Guard, and Greek Club Secretary. PATRICIA CORDES was out of the mist in the Tri-Hi-Y, Spanish Club, Student Council, Bowling League, on the Prom Committee, and as the Delta S.G,C. Secretary. Drifting along with the rest was ANN CORKELL in the Latin Club, G.A.A., Bowling League, on the Social Committee, and as a Delta S.G.C. Treasurer. LEONA CORTHIER or Lee was President of the L,G.C., French Club Vice4President, Captain of the Cheerleaders, Honor Society, S.G.C., G.A.A., Graduation Committee, Intramurals, and Bowling. VIRGINIA CORTS shoved off for the open sea in the Gamma S.G.C., Spanish Club, and on the Graduation Committee. THOMAS COUSTON might easily have been sighted as an active member of the Student Council and on the Graduation Committee. IUNE CRAW- FORD scuttled her fears as a member of the G.A.A. and as a Log Rep- resentative. Meeting the ocean traffic was IEAN CRONIN in the G.A.A., Alpha S.G.C., Mixed Chorus, as a Splashette, and on the Social Com- mittee. IUNE CUMMINGS kept busy as President of the Bowling League, Spanish Club President, Social Committee Treasurer, and in the G.A.A., Beta S.G.C., Drama Club, and the Mixed Chorus. EILEEN CZACH was known as Butch to her classmates in the G.A.A., Spanish Club, Chorus, and S.G.C. FLORENCE DAHLGREN helped keep things adrift in the G.A.A., French Club, S.G.C., and Hall Guards. Aiding her sister was FRANCES DAHLGREN or better known as Shorty in the G,A.A., French Club, S.G.C., and Hall Guards. DOROTHY DAHLIN climbed aboard in time for the Tri-Hi-Y, Red Cross, Mixed Chorus and in the G.A.A. and S.G.C. HERB DAVENPORT made for shore as President of the Spanish Club, Chairman of the Gift Committee, on the Soccer Team, Wrestling Team, and Alpha Hi-Y. BETTY IO DAVIS never let you down as Assistant Editor of the Viking, Secretary of the Chorus, a Hall Guard, in the Red Cross, G.A.A., Bowling League, and S.G.C. DOUG DECKER kept things afloat by sinking basket- balls for three faithful seasons on the Basketball Team. RAY DECKER'S friends could easily spot him on the Basketball Team, Program Committee, and Intramural Sports.

RICHARD Dick CAHILL paddled his own canoe as the Chairman of the Graduation Com- mittee, member of the Baseball and Football Teams, Letter Men's and Spanish Clubs. BARBARA CALLAGHAN. called Kelly, hastily left port to join the Spanish and French Clubs, Delta S.G.C., Red Cross, G.A.A., Log Repre- sentatives, and was Treasurer of the Alpha Tri-Hi-Y. GEORGE CAL- LISTER, known as Cal, batted his way aboard by being active on the Baseball Team. ELAINE Bugs CARBINE didn't find any crabs in the G.A.A., S.G.C., Gift Committee, Latin Club, as a Cleaneup Representative, and member of the National Honor Society, HELENE CARELIN was in the German and Latin Clubs, S.G.C., President of the Beta Tri-Hi-Y, and Associate Editor of the Log. Skimming the tops of the waves we find EARL CARLSON as a member of the Competitive Platoon of the R.O.T.C., Spanish Club, and Hall Guards. GROVER CARR was on the beam in the Spanish Club, Latin Club, Con- cert Band, Clean-up Staff, Baseball and Track Teams. Along the coast- line came VIOLET CARR in the S.G.C., French Club, National Hono5So- ciety, and Log Associate Editor. IACQUELINE CHRIST was out in deep water as a member or G.A.A., Spanish Club, and Bowling League. IEAN CHRIS IANSEN Chris was in the Honor Society, Spanish Club, S.G.C., Service Girls, Log Staff, College Day Committee Chairman, Alpha Tri-Hi-Y President. Avoiding shallow water was EUGENE CHRISTIE. Class Sergeant-at-Arms, President A Club, Captain of the Basketball Team. STAN CLETCHER had a nautical time as a Hall Guard, Log Representa- tive, in a Bowling League, and Football, Volleyball, Softball, and Bas- ketball lntramurals. IOHN CLOSTERIDES kept afloat as a member of the R.O.T.C. Officers' Club, -Greek Club, and Rifle Club. HELEN COKINS needed no repairs while in the Mixed Chorus, G.A,A., Movie Crew, Greek Club, Spanish Club, S.G.C., and Bowling League. DOROTHY COLEMAN topped the waves as Vice-President Theta S.G.C., in the G.A.A., and Bowling League. LORRAINE COLEMAN stood at at- tention while in the G.A.A., S.G.C., Latin Club, Bowling League, and Library Staff. DOLORES COLLIGNON, or Greefy, was Salutatorian, Viking Co-Editor, National Honor Society President, and a member of the College Day Committee, S.G.C., and Bowling League.

SCHOLARSHIP Loraine Martinson Iuck Stoffel Theirs is the thirst to know. Out of the fog came BETTY DE FOY when taking part in the G.A.A., S.G.C., Bowling League, and the Letter Girls' Club, A good scout was PATRICIA DELAHANTY on the Viking Staff, Program Committee, Spanish Club, Theta S.G.C., Honor Society, Intramurals, and as a Log and Viking Representative. BARBARA DELAPORTE kept to the course in the G.A.A., S.G.C., Chorus, and the Library Staff. Fair weather accompanied ANTHONY DEMAS when sailing through the Student Council and the Greek Club. CATHERINE DE SALVO often heard Katy being called in the G.A.A., Tau S.G.C., Honor Society, Chorus, and Intramurals. CHARLES DE SWARTE locked the hatch before sub- merging into the R.O.T.C., Officers' Club, Stage Crew, and the Hall Guards. Keeping things splashing was BETTY DE VRIESE in the Iota S.G.C,, Bowling League, G.A.A., Spanish Club, Intramurals, Prom Committee, and Pin and Ring Committee. LAUREL DIANGSON had to hustle aboard in time to be French Club Secretary and S.G.C. Secretary. DOROTHY DIXON participated in the French Club, Bowling League, G.A.A., and as a Viking Representative, Delta S.G.C. Treasurer, Tri-Hi-Y Sec. SHIRLEY DOERSCHNER filled the sails in the G.A.A., Horseback Riding Club, Girls' Chorus, Spanish Club, Hall Guards, and as a Viking Rep- resentative. Meeting the wind and the current was IANET DONGIS in the Spanish Club, G.A.A., Girls' Chorus, Iota S.G.C., Social Committee, and as a Log Representative. ROBERT ECKERSBERG followed the North Star in the Spanish Club, Intramurals, Graduation Committee. TILLIE EICHERMUELLER was a shipmate in the G.A.A., S.G.C., German Club, Honor Society, and Girls' Chorus. MARIE EIDE was the guest warp rope as Valedictorian, Class Secretary, Assistant Editor of Viking, Latin Club President, National Honor Society member, Bowling League Presi- dent, Secretary Omega S.G.C., Tri-Hi-Y. ELEANOR ELLIOTT came on deck for Mixed Chorus, French Club, Log Staff, S.G.C. IRENE ENGELMAN was in the midst of an ocean of activities in the G.A.A., German Club, S,G.C., and also was an active member in Intra- murals. ARLINE ERICKSON kept the decks clean in the G.A.A., French Club, Drama Club, S.G.C., Spanish Club, Honor Society, and on the Prom Committee. EMILY ERICKSON kept things moving in the French Club and as a member of the S.G.C.
