Dec. 9 Had intelligence V27 test. Amo defeats Danville in an overtime game. Dec. ll Big day for the Seniors. Their name cards arrive. Dec. 14 Senior pictures arrive and the Seniors spend a day looking at themselves. Dec. 18 County Tourney. We had high hopes after we beat 19 Pittsboro and Stilesville, but alas--Plainfield defeats us. Dec. 20 The second edition of the Ace Reporter came out today. Dec. 22 Christmas Exchange. What a day! Dec. 23 Chrisunas vacation comes but once a year. Dec. 28 Seniors order invitations. Dec. 29 Plans are being made for the Junior-Senior re- ception. O X - JQ! TDTslE ruwne WMEHM WEMEEWMEEERMSQE JANUARY Jan. l We start a new year. Six seniors are absent. It looks as if some people don't know when to go to bed. Jan. 4 Rev. Godwin gives a talk to the student body. Jan. 5 The Sophomores gained a new member today, Harry Nicely from New Winchester. Jan. 8 New semester and another day's vacation. Teachers make out reports. We defeat New Winchester 34-22. Jan. 12 The Juniors and Seniors take an arithmetic test-- only four Seniors and three Juniors pass. Those not making above 78 will have to take an arith- metic course this semester. The Senior basketball sweaters are ordered. Jan. 15 Our first day for H. S. arithmetic. The team plays Clayton and adds another victory.

A basketball supper is given for the basket- ball boys. The Senior sweaters are presented and the first team and Senior boys receive small gold basketballs. ' Rev. Malsbary gives a talk urging the high school students to take part in the radio program HYouth for Christ.n Commercial contest at Danville.
