,317 AMO - 26 W. Cn February 19, we went to Lizton grimly determined to keep the keg because this was our last scheduled game before the sectional. The contest was fast and hard- fought with the Blazers close upon our heels. SECTIONAL TOURNEY The Clayton Cardinals were defeated in the first game of the Friday afternoon session by the Blue Aces. Amo made the opening tally and had a 25-17 advantage at the final gun. Amo continued to keep a good grip on the county keg by defeating North Salem 29-27. The score was too close for comfort during the entire encounter and at one time was 27-18 in favor of North Salem. In the closing min- utes of play, Amo succeeded in grabbing an uneasy two point margin. X Amo entered the game Saturday afternoon with the county keg in their possession, but after the final gun Plainfield took possession of the treasured county sym- bol. Amo held a comfortable margin during the first three quarters. The final quarter proved to be our un- doing. The Quakers uncorked such a comeback that they pulled to the front at 23-22. With only a few minutes to play, both teams tried desperately to shade their op- ponent. The final tally gave Plainfield the one-point lead which meant a victory for the Quakers.
