Audrey Jean, one of the little girls, Is always seen with hair bows and curls. At bookkeeping, Clyde Loore is a wow, And adding up figures, he sure knows how. For carrying the mail to school on time, Myrl Rumley, as postmistress would be fine. Maebelle Sharpe, a red-headed lass, Likes to be at the head of her class. Donald Snyder, a very nice lad, With the teachers is always in bad. Esther Trump, known to flirt, For some handsome boy is on the alert. To sail the high sea in uniform grand, Donald Walton, called HDonnie,H is this man. Mildred Weekly to Indianapolis does go, Where she may spend the weekend with her beau Ardith West, a business man is he, And at this work successful will be. Maurice Wingler, often seen in the hall, Will be missed in chorus and basketball. Peggy Winks, a girl of fame, Is sure to add glory to her name. As this good ship sails out in the sea With a cargo, young and fancy free, Faces so bright and hearts light and gay, Hoping to gain by experience each day. Altho' we leave this ship of fame, Trusting that others will seek to gain Working, toiling, always for the best. With a fond farewell and sad adieu, We leave a place on deck for you.

SENICR FOUL On the good ship of A. H. S. Twenty-four Seniors have gained the test. - With diploma in ha d and a wave of farewell, They start out in life with a story to tell. The sea has been rough and at times, filled with fear, But these twenty-four Seniors stand up with a cheer-Q Here's to the school, may she always stand strong And lead other youths as the years go along. Miss Osborn, our leader for two years has been, And many the task she has helped us in. Lawrence Applegate you will recall, Is our Senior very tall. Bonnie Biehl, the President of our class, Is a sweet, energetic, and charming lass. Irvin Burnett who leads the yells, Over the teachers cast a spell. Andrew Cunningham, better known as HAndyU, At basketball playing is certainly a dandy. Betty Jean, always hard at work, Her duties, we know, she'll never shirk. On Clara Mae you can depend, To be a good and faithful friend. Of our class, Brice Ellett is one Who's known and liked by everyone, Doris Hathaway wears her heart on her sleeve, Hoping a certain soldier will soon be on leave. Bennie Heavin, a lad so true, On the ball team always comes thru. Irene Holbrook, a cute little blond, Of her the boys are really quite fond, You know that Billie is within call, When you hear that Texas drawl. lk Jo Ann Jamison, a pretty lass, Stops all the boys as they go past. Maurice Masten, better known as NMatH, Turns all the girls but one, down flat.

' V SENIOR WILL We, the Senior class of '43, of Amo Highl School, being of,,sound mind and judgment do make, publish, and declare this to be our last will and testament. To our beloved faculty we wish to give our sincere thanks for their earnest efforts in our behalf to make our years in high school not only pleasant but inspira- tional. , To our successor, the Juniors, we will our reputa- tion and esteem among the high school students and faculty and our unusual thoughts that have made our class successful. To the Sophomores we will our good grades and also our good looks which have helped us gain the last round of the ladder. To the dear little Freshies we will our ability to bluff the teachers by our innocent ways when they are watching. Lawrence Applegate wills his height of 6 ft. 4 in. to Marshall Walton. Bonnie Biehl wills her grades and ability to get along with the teachers to John Fitzgerald. Irvin Burnett bequeaths his privilege of sleeping during class to Fred Rumley. Andrew Cunningham wills his broad shoulders and manly physique to Rolland Rollings. Betty Jean Cunningham wills her good humor and giggles tc Luella Austin. Brice Ellett leaves a portion of his bashfulness and shyness with women to Bob Waltman. Clara Mae Elliott bequeaths her successful rules and schemes on NHcw to Catch a mann tc Wanda Masten. Doris Hathaway wills her desire to be a soldier's wife to Martha Louise Ccx. Bennie Heavin bequeaths his basketball technique to' Jim Elrod. 'w ' Irene Holbrook wills her southern drawl and love for jitterbug dancing to George Broadstreet. Jo Ann Jamison bequeaths her popularity and friend- liness to Lois Storts. A
