The Key Club presented-in co-sponsorship with the Leader's Club-the annual Faculty- Student contests. The Echo had its start in 1920. Since then it has progressed until now it has its own production room where the paper is edited. With the patient help of Mr. Walter Sharpe, advisor, the Echo staff this year put out eight issues that contained the school news, fashions, features, columns, and quiekies. Each issue was carefully written, copy read, typed, proof read, and the page make-up arranged by the staff under the direction of Marie Miranda, editor-in-chief, Maryanne Morisco, news editor, Nina Sheindelman, news editor, and Linda Wolpert, feature editor. The business end was managed by Al Emmolo and his staff under the guidance of Mr. Joseph Clancy. The paper receives its support from the student body through subscriptions and from its advertisers. Every spring, part ofthe staff is invited to the Columbia 8640 X Yr, Left to Right: M. Morisco. M. Miranda, A. Emmolo, N. Sheindelman L. Wolpert. Press Conference which lasts three days.
