sented an authentic atmosphere. Step aside all you fans of the jazz beat. Rock and Roll is the newest craze, and we dished out plenty at our Rock 'n Roll ,l2lI'Illl0X'C9.,i the first dance of the Senior year. After that we showed our school spirit by sponsoring thc Red 'n Gray dance held in November. At our King and Queen dance, Bernie Wyatt and Barbara Woi'oli were the reigning couple. Now we are looking forward to the best of all dances, the Senior Ball. Sportswise, our final year was one of which we can be proud. We were county champions in football, and Bernie Wyatt broke the Suffolk County Scoring record. Our Senior Play Time Out for Ginger was a new smash hit from Broadway and +1ui proved to be as great a success at A. M. H. S. We began to work on our yearbook. Funds from the magazine cam- paign, book covers and senior button sales added to our treasury. Now we are look- ing forward to class day and the fun of planning our costumes. But with all the fun will come the realization that our school days will be practically over. All our four wonderful years are drawing to a close. The most memorable day of all will soon be here, Graduation Day at Amityville Memorial High School. This brief history could only partly tell of the fun we have had, of the friends we have made and of the memories that will last a life time. Our sincere thanks to all those who helped us, the Class of '57, during our high school years.

We were proud of the wrestling team u ho defeated Mepham for the first time in eighteen years and won the Suffolk County Championships. The A. M. H. S. basketball team also had a good year and took second place in the A-1 league. September of our third year in A. M. H. S. found us with renewed in- terest and zest. We gained a second ad- visor, Mr. Brophy. We entered the Dra- matic Opportunity Tournament with the presentation of a drama instead of a com- edy. Our enthusiasm spilled over into our magazine and book cover sales. Winning the title of County Co-champs in football gave us the idea that the future would bring still more honors.
