TO MR. KITTLE: As supervising principal of Amityville Memorial High School, you have assumed a great responsibility-that of our educa- tion. We of the graduating Class of 1957 hold you in high esteem as a man so dedi- cated to his career that time. patience, and understanding have become associated with your name. Though seldom seen, your o1nni-pres- ence has inspired and encouraged us to fulfill our obligations as free-thinking, open-minded individuals. Some of us will go on to college, others will enter the business world and a few will marry, but our four years in Amityville lVlen1orial High School, under your guid- ance, have prepared us to enter upon these endeavors as superior individuals and democratic Americans. Our high school career has now come to an end as has your job of changing us from the adolescents we were as freshmen to the mature adults we must be to face our future.
