The Spartans started out fast, winning the first 8 games. Top offensive threats were Tim Doheny and Dave Kozak with I7 and 25 goals respectively. The defense was led by Howie Gartland, Lance Porto and Cap- tain Matt Luce. The team lost several close games in over- time and ended the regular season I3-6, qualifying for the CIAC Tournament.
