The team qualified for the CIAC Tournament for the first time in three years with a record of 7-6-2. Center Don Rom- berg was the leading scorer on this vastly improved team, with fifteen goals and six assists. Romberg was also selected for the All-Housatonic League first team. Peter Simon was the team's second leading scorer with ten goals and six assists, and received All-Housatonic League Honorable Mention. Also receiving Honorable mention were Glenn Duhl, Ross Cotjanle, Ed Viani, Tim Boulanger and .lim Clements.
