FILL ITH 3 R'S The library assistants- Betty Yonkings, Phyllis Frank, lVlary Lou Aschen- bach, Thelma Sprenger, Eileen Connell, and Vera Mae Schubert -- are al- ways in the library ready to help the pupils with their reference work, to keep the books in order, and to check in-coming and out-going l i b r a r y books. A writing class is held twice weekly in Miss Ehr- man's fifth grade. The boys and girls learn how to improve their penman- ship and how to express their personalities in writ- ing. Mrs. Eppley sees to it that no pupils leave junior high unless they know their third 'rithmetic. ln the picture at the left the students are working interest problems.

Volleyball is a sport enjoyed all year round by the gym experts. Tennis is also be- coming popular as a school sport, especial- ly among the girls.
