BASEBALL The varsity baseball team, coached by Mr. Charles Abram- son, had a very successful season. The team won the Hampshire League Championship with a 16—2 record. The J.V. team finished its season with a 4—5 record, while the Freshmen posted five wins and two losses. Safe???

The varsity cheerleaders participated in a competition at Chicopee during the spring. It was a valuable, if prizeless, experience. Spring Activities. KEY CLUB The Key Club is the school’s new- est and most active service organiza- tion. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club, its members are boys selected from the sophomore, junior, and senior classes. The first officers were: Jeff Payton, president; Tom Thompson, vice-president; Sandy Darity, secretary; and Bill Double- day, treasurer. The club’s first pro- jects included construction of the new concession stand and assistance to the “ABC” Program.
