Mark Year’s End. CLASS NIGHT Class Night, June 3, was a truly enjoyable evening. The senior class and faculty enjoyed strawberry shortcake, served by junior boys and Mrs. Ruth Correll, in the cafeteria, and then adjourned to the auditorium. The class will and prophecy were read by the class officers and the class movie, “The Collector,” was shown. The announce- ment of the yearbook dedication completed the evening’s activities. Bill Doubleday presents Mr. John Adams with his dedication copy of the Goldbug. CLASS PICNIC The senior class picnic was held at Birch- tuft Lodge in the Monadnock Recreation Area on June 5. About one hundred twelve members of the class enjoyed hiking, pool and lake swimming, water skiing, tennis, soccer, and other recreational activities, as well as picnic lunches. Seniors enjoy the beach in Jaffrey, N.H. Miss Charlotte Halpin listens as Ginny Harper announces the yearbook dedication.

Corsages, Yearbooks, And Picnic Lunches Miss Donna Mellen was Queen of the Prom. Members of her court were, from left: Martha Joy, Joan McEwen, Ann Eiben, and Linda Larson. SENIOR PROM The Senior Prom was held on the evening of May 1 8, in the Student Union Ballroom. The prom had as its theme, “Paris Par Nuit.” The atmosphere of a Paris Cafe near the Eiffel Tower highlighted the evening. The committee headed by Pat McLaughlin and Nancy Gage did a fine job of organizing the prom. They could have danced all night. S ' l The Class Of 1968 Experiences The The boys relax before GRADUATION The Class of 1968 graduated on June 6, 1968, at Amherst College’s Pratt Cage. The graduation was the largest in the history of the school. It was an event saddened by national tragedy, but brightened by personal success. The senior processional was led by Junior Marshal Eric Bleckwehl.
