Most of its activities forthe past year were concentrated on swelling its treasury. In October the juniors staged an unusually successful paper drive, while November kept them busy with the junior class cake auction and a semi-for- mal dance. Besides its fund raising campaigns, the Class of '60 participated in all of the school activities. The members revived the tradition of a junior class play and in November produced the entertaining You Can't Take It With Youf' Mem- bers of the class are outstanding in music, sports, and scholastic ability. This sum- mer one junior Will spend his vacation with a family of another country. FROSH LEARN FAST Energetic as well as original, the Class of '61 headlined its program for the year with Slave Day, an activity inherited from this year's graduating class. The appropriately named Ball and Chain Hopi' immediately followed this day of toil. In january a Caveman's Hop was held, and a bottle drive and a second Slave Day materialized in the spring. The freshman class reported these projects as highly successful. Among their other ac- tivities they entered a float in the Booster Day Parade, which proclaimed the merits of grinding up the foe.
