In June, the members of the class of 1954 will complete a definite achievement through the act of graduation from high school. A number of you will be continuing your education at institutions of higher learning. Others will be seeking jobs, and still others will be entering the service of their country. As you leave us and depart for places far and Wide, may I ask each of you to realize the importance of his Work and the valuable contribution it can make to the welfare of our country. We live in critical times, but the history of our country tells us that We in America have survived a substantial number of critical periods. I have tremendous faith in the youth of today and have complete confidence that they will face the future with determination to make this world a better place in which to live. RALPH W.
