Garvey, president, R. Kamensky, treasurer. The juniors have a class to be proud of. They initiated a welcome- back assembly this fall that will no doubt become a practice from now on in A.H.S. A hard working class they began, early in the year, projects for financing the '54 Goldbug. The school will not soon forget the hilarious cake sale held in November with cakes made by faculty members and bid in by students. The juniorspdid a fine job of acting in their class play, The Late Christopher Bean. The seniors feel it is safe to leave the future of A.H.S. to the juniors and their advisor, Mr. Oliver. Every year a new class enters A. H. S. to be viewed witha mixture of sus- picion and hope by the veterans of one year and two years service. Will the new members run rough shod over the traditions and practices believed in by the old- timers or will they carry on? Now after months of association, we, the graduating class, are able to admit praise and respect for the class of '55, knowing all will be safe in their hands. The ninety-one beginners made themselves felt in several activities and par- ticularly in sports. They formed nearly the entire second string of the football squad and in basketball the JV's ran up an amazing string of victories. They were active in music, debate, and on the Graphic as well. Their school spirit was excellent and they evinced cooperation and originality in their class dance held in the spring. First Row: J.Coyne, L. Dickenson, J.Grybko, J.Banda1evich, D.Carpenter, D.
