Homecoming 1980 Homecoming 1980 was a huge success, but Amherst Homecomings usually are. The entire weekend, begin- ning with the bonfire Friday night and ending with the victory dance on Saturday night, was filled with Amherst Tiger spirit. With a score of sixteen to zero over Orchard Park, the Tigers really made this year's Homecoming an extra special event. Water Follies 1980 The entire cast of Water Follies 1980, The Sounds of Music . Senior Directors Robin Honsberger and Laurie Adams get a lift from the boys. Last spring's Water Follies was presented by one of the largest casts it has ever had. Under the direction of Mrs. Susan Rexford, Ms. Sandra Taylor and Ms. Carole Wakefield the show, whose theme was The Sounds of Music , featured music ranging from classical to disco to western. Highlights of the show included senior directors Laurie Adams and Robin Honsberger in a special duet. Coaches Rexford, Taylor, and Wakefield are thrown in the water during the dress rehearsal. Girls of the Brians Song number forming a star.
