'Vlr Rowland receives student help in explaining a concept in Soci- ology class. Mr. Rowley works out a calculus problem with Frank Emery of the Advanced Placement class. Mrs. Bradley helps her students to make good use of the excellent hornemaking facilities. Mr. VVilkens explains mechanical tech- niques in the Language Lab to some of his German students. Amherst teachers display a high degree of dedication and purpose, serving their school and their stu- dents, not only in the classroom but also during lunch period mon- itoring, after school office hours,', advisership of extra- curricular activities, faculty com- mittee meetings, and consulta- tion with parents. We are grateful to our teachers for exposing us to broad concepts of knowledge and culture, allow- ing us to develop intellectual in- sight into ourselves and the world. WVe shall remember them for their gifts and their guidance through the yearsg we hope that we shall prove worthy of their efforts. Mrs. Williams works with her after-school grammar class.
