SV 7 Increasing reading power. Yearly, through Amherst's Adult Educa- tion Program, more than 4,000 citizens of Eggertsville and Snyder go to school. Outstanding features of this year's program were the three lectures by Dr. Seville Chapman, eminent local physicist. The personal counseling offered four nights weekly has proved to be a valuable service of the A.E.P. for the local resi- dents. Courses offered by the program vary from American History to YVood- working. Eleven new courses were offered this year including Contemporary Dance, Creative Writing, Global Pressure Points, and Practical Politics. Under the direction of Dr. Carl Minich, President of The National Association of Public School Adult Educationg Mrs. Mary Parke, and Blrs.
