As the oyster must spend long and tedious months of labor in order to produce a perfect pearl so the 1954 Tower staff toiled in order to produce a yearbook which they considered ap- PYOPTIHIC. Early in the fall, the staff met, organized, and began to plan the subscription drive which was to last for several months. The diflicult job of Ann Mottinger Carol Keating finance was aptly met by the enthusiastic workers Bmw' BuS 1fSS1'f'1 gf' in the lorm of a successful Tower Bazaar and the sale of Christmas cards and gift wrappings. Ihe real work of the yearbook, however, was seen in Room 220 vv here the executive staff met night after night under the expelt supervision of Nh Robert Holder the adviser and -Xnn Mottin ger the editor to co ordinate all the information and material necessary to compile a yearbook Mr Robert Holder which would give an authentic vievx of all phases Adwsff of life hele at Amherst TOWER STAE TOWER GE ERAL STAE I-ns!
