FOREWORD The high school years are stages of growth and transition. The direction and form in which the individual grows greatly depends upon his high school. Through athletic, scholastic, and social activities Ames High is dedicated to developing the individual. Growth is evident at Ames High for the second year in quite another form. The second addition to the new campus is being completed. This much-needed physical ex- pansion will result in one of the finest schools in Iowa—a place for students to grow in mind, body, and spirit.
