It was quite impressive to see the Marching Band followed by the Marching Pep Club parade in formation across the field before home football games. Par- ticularly eye-catching were the rows of Pep Club members in their orange jackets and black skirts as they sat together in the bleachers at both football and bas- ketball games. The girls also served as ticket-takers, ushers, provided half-time entertainment at basketball games, and organized sever- al money-making projects. All seniors girls were eligible to be members of Pep Club, providing they abided by the rules and maintained passing grades in three sub- jects. The officers of Pep Club and the Coun- cil, under the direction of Miss Diane Claus- sen, were in charge of organizing and co- ordinating all their various activities. Of- ficers this year were: Diane Tripp, presi- dent; Joan Holtz, vice-president; Judy El- liot, secretary; and Rosalie Larson, treas- urer. The Council consisted of two repre- sentatives from each senior homeroom. Back: Sharon Hibbs, Diana Shultz, Mary Kay Baldus, Carolyn Heubner, Mary Garner, Ann Sargent.
