In attendance at the jioinecoMincj I i O Ceicimmj were students of American Schools of Mexico City , Puebla , Durango, Torreon, Guadalajara and Queretaro. Students from these schools were sup- porting or were basketball team members. At the ASOMEX basketball tournament played at the American School of Monterrey the presence of additional students provided enough dance partners for everyone. Music for the Homecoming Dance was quite loud and many were surprised the Casino Del Valle still had windows! Generally speaking, everyone concluded Homecoming 1976 was defi- nitely well attended and good times were had by all. Below the group assembles for their yearbook photo . The 1975-76 Monterrey Darlings were few in num- ber but great in spirit. Consequently, because of size and relative inexperience , the Darlings did not perform as many times as in past y ears . The in their new uniforms. Many people saw the new uniforms during one of the ASF basketball games when the girls performed. IBM Corporation invited the girls to perform at a convention held in Monter- rey earlier this year. In appreciation for their excellent performance, the girls received small elephants to be worn on a chain to bring good luck. The Monterrey Darlings goal for the 1976-77 school year will be new dance routines and more mem- bers.
