At right, Mari Pagola concenuates on a portrait sketch. Below left, Mr. Roland ends a long, hard day in his usual state of bewilderment. Below right, Cristina Andre and Tom Townsend discuss their ideas for a project. Mr. Roland and his group of young followers have been busy with many to make this year especially beneficial for the Art Club. Most of their time was spent in individual projects ranging from rug hooking to mosaic cre- ations. Led by their sponsor, Mr. Craig Roland, and Club President Cristina Andre, the club mem- bers have been encouraged to try their hand at several an variations, or to perfect their favorite areas . The past year has brought several new addi- tions to the diversity of the Art room. A kiln for ceramic work has been added and also a darkroom to develop pictures and experiment with photogra- phy. An cenainly contains something for everyone and the ASF Art Club does a good job of providing just about everything . 158
