The song of the football team this year past was the sweetest, the song of victory. The Eagles rolled over their opponents, win- ning all but one game and that a scoreless tie. The Eagle defense allowed no score in 6 games. No score in 74 was the victory chant. The offense averaged 30 points each game while the de- fense gave up only 22 yards per g me. No matter how impressive the statistics were, there was another aspect that was just as impres- sive, the spirit that was gener- ated. For the first time in years the championship was brought to the school. The school was waking up to the fact that they had something to be proud of.
