The Club enjoyed a splendid year but could. not balance their budget-falling 3.015798 short. fitetaty gfud The book-readers and discussers were greeted by smiling Ianet, and the op- portunity for all students interested in literature and creative Writing was ex- tended. This Club sponsors the Cri- terion, which publishes meritorious con- tributions, and although no Bob Far- rells were discovered, the magazine was a best reader about campus. .gntetjaith ckffowdkga Interfaith enjoyed a successful year and the members gave particular ar- tention to prejudices and racial prob- lems. Affiliation With the Student and World Christian Movement organiza- tions helped this club to carry out their Well-rounded program. O. Fiske didn't bother Broga much, and Dr. Spoerl had a comparatively peaceful year.

The toughest task is for our disputants to be boiling on the inside and cool on the outside, and looss-man Hogan knows how to extract this quality. The fostering of forensic dis- cussion, intercollegiate and intracollegiate debating, and, most important, the promotion of the New England Iunior Model Congress, are the goals of our debaters. Requisites? A three minute talk with one and a half breath, maximum. fusineu 61116 This outfit wasted funds this year on a money-detecting unit-they don't need one. The Club gives students a practical know- ledge of the business world and the leading men in it, and sponsors many social activ- ities, including dinner meetings, outings, dances, and trips. With the addition of Prof. Sartwell, the Club had a banner year in that all money-making schemes were kept inside of the law. Chief, Iohn T., and the other business hawks attempted to get Iohn L. Lewis to organize for them, but old eye brows had a date with the Supreme Court.
