The Board of Directors of the American School Foundation states as its basic purpose the welfare of the Senior, Junior and Elementary academic insti tutions of the Foundation. lt directs the financial organization of the school. and establishes the basic policies to which the administrative, faculty, and student bodies are subjected. The Board was composed in 1894, following the formation of the American School Foundation, only six years earlier.
