This year we 'have hada 'new attraction for many boys and girls. lt is called Badminton and is played down at the Club Racqueta. The game is very similar to tennis. It is played on a rectangular court 'with a net.5 feet liigfli in the center. The implements used to play the game are racquets of a very light weigrhtg and as a ball a round cork with feathers is used. The object of the game is to- put the feather ball over -the net, inside your opponent's court. The scoring is different from that of tennis. If your score is even. irrespective of your L partner's score you serve from your right court to his right court. lf your score is an uneven . ' number the left courts are used. You cannot maketlt Doint unless You Sepvefl that plavg if you did not serve it. and you win, you receive the serve, and 'tllell you may make pOEintA'S.
