Yiannina or Bust We had one thing on our side-the good weather! After getting everyone and everyth- ing on the bus, we made our hectic departure. Everyone has their ups and downs and our biggest down was on the left rear sideAa flat tire! A little organization got us on our way once more. We took the ferry from Rion to Nafpaktos where we settled ourselves for a longf?j nights sleep. In the morning, wc continued on our journey to Yiannina. We were on the road all day, and late Saturday night we arrived in Yiannina Qwho says sitting isn't tiring?j The following day we went to Metsovon where the natives found us very interesting and loved those Kodak cameras! Dinner and dancing was the message for Sunday night, and the mousiki. . .! Monday saw us at the caves. . . they never had it so bad! And those 133 steps, gad, what atmospheric conditions! Monday night was a repeat performance of dinner and dancing at a local taverna, with Mr. Markotsoglou as the main attraction and Mr. Yeros as his die-hard understudy. We beat the sun on Tues- day by arising, half asleep, at 4:30 in the wee small hours of the morning. On the way home, the hum of the motor was drowned out by the snore of 40 exhausted tourists. With Joe Faussett leading the chorus, cramped in a jump seat. The marathon was over, Joe, who had done a great job of keeping all the boys awake for the previous four nights, was out! In spite of misfortunes, we made it home by 9:00, and a good time was had by all.
