Joyce Mason, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Mason was born in 1931 in St. Benedict, Pennsylvania. In 1945 she moved to Sewiclcley Creek Road and entered the Ambriclge School System. Joyce was killed during her Junior year of high school on October 22, 1947 in an automobile accident. Joycels main interests in high school were music and art. We deeply regret the loss of a class- mate and friend. WAYNE NURNEY -1. , JOYCE MASON Wayne Nurney, son of Shepard and Mary Nurney, was born in Glenwillard, November 21, 1929. Entering Ambridge as a freshman, Wayne elected to take the general course. He became a member of Miss Sarah Adam's homeroom upon his entrance into the senior high. Among his many hobbies, hunting and fishing were his favorites. Wayne also found much pleasure in roller skating. The fatal accident o c c u r r e d while Wayne was riding in a jeep with some of his friends. The loss of one of our fellow students is deeply grieved by all.
