Command The scl ool board IS at the head of the educatxonal program 1n Ambrldge Hlgh Cchool It IS responsible for the smooth running schedule whlch we follow daxly Durmg their meetmgs, the seven members carry on discussions concernmg the rmprovement and progress of our school system Some of their dutles are to h1re the faculty, take care of the flnances, arrange for the purchase of supplles, and supervlse lmprovements xn the bulldmg The executlves follow the suggestlons of the school board The executlves, the superlntendent, prmclpals, and assistant prmcxpals supervise the teachers and some cholce IH the selectlon of text books and supplxes The faculty, under the dxrectnon of the executnves, has charge of the student body They supervxse the course of study and sponsor clubs and actwltxes that are carrled on after school hours 1n addrtxon to the hours dur1ng school trme The faculty has clone a lot toward preparmg the students for better posxtnons durmg the present emergency The OHICC force IS 1 group of capable people who talce care of all necessary records, clerxcal work, and correspondence that IS connected with the school Each dlvlslon cooperates wlrh the other d1v1s1ons thus malung the school a smooth runnmg, CEICIBIIY. and outstandmg orgamzatxon carry out, to the best of their ability, the plans of the school board.
