The year ending is the first you have known as high school students when the world was at peace. Now, there is a truce for bloodshed and carnageg but the fight, so far as this generation of youth is concerned, has iust begun. The struggle for peace never ends. It is our hope that the graduates of i946 have learned to think for themselves, and that they have been disciplined in the peace of unselfishness that will enable them to establish and maintain a vvorld understanding and fellowship that may endure for generations to come.
