With the co-operation of the coach, teammates, and photographers we were able to picture this year's track team. Although the season has not yet started, we may expect great events from every member of the team, which is made up of about half sophomores and half freshmen. ial

BASEBALT, 7 Because of a press deadline, this year’s baseball team could not be pictured, but the picture at the bottom of the page is the 1955-56 team which had a good year. There are high hopes for this year’s team to be made up mostly of freshmen. In the first picture, Herb Hill is at bat during a practice game. The second picture shows a “barely made it” landing. 141

Of course, they were few , in number. a All the girls will remember the lovely days we spent on the archery range looking for lost ar- rows. Although we did not shoot them at the same time, we combined groups when searching for those shot into the air instead of into the target.
