Versus - GARDEN CITY Jim Proctor goes high as he jumps over a Garden City ? player in an attempt to make a basket. This Garden City man with the ball makes sure that he has a good hold on it and even keeps three of his own players around him to help guard the ball. Jim Proctor looks around just to see who does have the ball, We lost our first game with Garden City 42-52. “It's mine, Bub.”

Versus LAMAR JR. COLLEGE The Cartermen got off to a good start with the speedy tricks of guard, Bobby Boyter, who tried to make a bas- ket although from the picture, it looks as if he missed. No. 99 tried his best to keep Bobby from making it. At the beginning of the game Jim Proctor jumped with No. 99 to control the tip-off. The Badgers barely made it with a score of 70-69. “Up they go.”

Versus DODGE CITY Dale Tarbet fights for the rebound from the reaching arms of three Dodge City players. Tarbet looks for the basket in an attempt to score two points for his team. Although No. 23 has a long way to go, he flies through the air far from the greatest of ease with two Dodge City players standing on each side of him. Bobby Boyter comes in to lend his help, if needed. It was a good game but we still lost . . . 50-65. 132 “But where is it, Dale?
