BAPTIST STUDENT UNIO was organized in 1951. Its purpose is to train college youths for Christian leadership and to extend the in- fluence of the church to the campus. It provides a devotional program, wholesome social life, and Christian vocational guidance in the school. The Upsilon Chapter of Beta Phi Gamma, the Press Club, was organized in 1940. The members of the organization take a leading part in editing the Ranger and the Palo Duro. Marita and Donnie give Mr. Ned Linegar, Area Repre- sentative for World University Service from Dallas, the check for Hungarian Relief. The money was raised by a Pie Supper with an open invitation to everyone. Highlighting the evening was the selection of a CRUMB KING QUEEN. The reign- ing king and queen were Annalee Campbell and Pat Patterson.
