We entered with open hearts and minds, ready to accept or challenge all that faced us. The importance of our years at Amador cannot be over-emphasized. The friendships, the anticipation, the heartbreaks, the great expec- tations experienced within the doors of Amador will never be forgot- ten, but it is only when we are seniors and can look back upon it all that we realize how important these memories will be and can truly appreciate them for what they are worth. The responsibility of being a senior, and the realization that soon we will take the big step out into the world, weighs heavy on the minds of us all. Whether we suc- ceed or fail in life will be dependent on us and what our outlook on life is. There is no denying the fact that our years at Amador have laid the foundation of that outlook. In June, when we, the class of 1966, take our final walk down the steps of Amador we can only hope that we have made an imprint on Amador that is as important as the one Amador has made on us. However, we can never truly say good- bye to Amador, for a little bit of this school will always remain with us. True to thee we'll always be, purple and gold of Amador.
