CLASS PROPHECY Woodhull IIIIUOIS Marchl 1976 To Whom It May Concern I have just returned from a tr1p around the Umted States dur1ng wh1ch t1me I v1s1ted all the members of the Class of 56 and thought you would l1ke to know what each one 1S do1ng now after twenty years have passed After 1ncreas1ng h1s fortune a consmderable amount Raymond Brown spends most of h1S t1me r1d1ng around 1n h1s gold plated Cad1llacs and B1ll Scott recently hav1ng been orda1ned as a m1n1ster pres1ded over the wedd1ng ceremony wh1ch un1ted MBPVIH Setterdahl and Bar bara Bo Bo Rockefeller 1n Holy Matr1mony Rumors have It that he marr1ed her for her money and also that he purchased her three hundred carat d1amond at T1ffany's wh1ch 1S now owned and operated by Suz1e Pople After many years of hard study Luc1lle Granger now holds the pos1t1on of Professor Phys1cal Educat1on at the Un1vers1ty of Alaska at Po1nt Barrow Her a1m 1S to teach her students not to talk 1n gym class 1f lt takes the rest of her l1fe For those who are mterested 1n sports John Ba1rd now holds the t1tle of World s Cham p1on Poker Player after he beat Russ1a's poker player last year 1n the Summer Olymp1cs I m1ght add that he 1S also lookmg forward to a good year at play1ng poker th1s year and Donald Norberg has Just s1gned a contract for coachmg the Ch1cago Bears You rac1ng fans w1ll want to know that Leone Charlson's horse Hot Rod won the b1ll1on dollar hand1cap race yesterday at Santa An1ta From Santa An1ta I went to Hollywood where I found that Sandra Johnson m now the owner of the world famous Brown Derby Restaurant and enterta1ns such stars as Barbara Lee Her husband Dewayne Magnuson IS the dlrector of her next mov1e Gone W1th the A1r wh1ch w1ll open at the local theater on January 10 Also wh1le 1n Hollywood I v1s1ted Dale W1llet who 15 now play1ng the part of Cuffy on the tele v1s1on ser1es Capta1n Gallant Next I V1S1ted Russell Swanson and Gary Frenell at the1r one hundred thousand acre 15 1mpat1ently wa1t1ng 1n a hosp1tal wa1t1ng room to be called Papa' for the s1xth t1me Before returnlng back to Ill1no1s as yet I had not V1S1tCd the Eastern and Southern States so my f1rst stop was 1D Atlant1c C1ty where the Mr Amer1ca Contest was 1n 1ts f1nal n1ght and much to my surprlse the person that was chosen for th1s t1tle was Jerry Neer He sa1d that all he had been do1ng s1nce he graduated from h1gh school was l1ft1ng Welghts and do1ng exerc1ses and now he has f1nally reached h1s goal On the next day I went to New York The f1rst day that I was there I went on a pleasure tr1p to Coney Island and wh1le stroll1ng along I ran r1ght 1nto Frances Wells and after chatt 1ng to her for a few mmutes I found out that she owned a Foot Long Hot Dog stand at Coney Island She also told me that Kenneth McDowell was the VICE Pres1dent of the Standard O11 Company and was res1d1ng 1n one of New York's better penthouses I left New York the next day bound for the Southern States Wh1le passmg through V1r g1n1a I d1scovered that Dave Roberts 13 now employed as Arthur Godfrey's personal co p11Ot New Orleans was my next stop and wh1le danc1ng at the Mard1 Gras I was 1ntroduced to Denn1s Wh1mpsey and h1s f1ancee I talked to Denn1s for a wh1le and learned that he now holds the t1tle of The World's Fanc1est Pretzel Tw1ster and 18 now employed by the Apex Pretzel Comp any But as always I was even more anxlous to return home to Ill1no1s although some people w1ll not bel1ve th1s Some of the members of Class of'56 stayed near to thexr old home town B1ll Evrard f1nally graduated from the Un1vers1ty of Ill1no1s and IS now tak1ng the place of our former Engl1sh teacher M1ss Becker Gene Malcolm 1S the mam elevator operator m the Emp1re State Bu1ld1ng wh1ch has recently been transferred to Woodhull by Ke1th Erland son's Mov1ng Company wh1ch moves any bu1ld1ng br1ck by br1ck Lo1s Peterson 13 the head man1cur1st at the Small An1mal Hosp1tal 1n the roar1ng metropl1s Oph1em Complxments of Com pl1ments of W J NECSLSON 8: SONS 25 LUALLEN MOTOR SALES Phlem woodhuu , . .
