. . HATS OFF T0 . . MRS. COLLINS That certain sparkle, a joking manner, and a hardy laugh-these are a few of the qualities which endear Mrs. Collins to the faculty and student body as well. Mrs. Collins displays an unselfish devotion to her students and is always ready to help a student who is interested and willing to work. Because ot her interest in us and in mathematics, she catches our interest in her courses. This marks Mrs. Collins' thirtieth year of teaching, sixteen of which have been in the Alvin Public School system. Since she has been here, she has helped to bring about improvements and changes in the math department. Mrs. Collins graduated from Trinity University, where she received her B.A. in 1931. She completed work for her MA. at the University of Houston- Always eager to improve her mathematical knowledge, Mrs. Collins has attended workshops at Trinity, S.M.U., University of Houston, and Peabody. For her service to our school we dedicate this annual to Mrs. Reba Collins.
