WILLIAM CHRISTIAN, one ot the iunior class sponsors, is a graduate ot the University of Houston IBS. in Historyj and Sam Houston lM.Ed. in Adm. Ed.l. He teaches world history, Texas history, and economics. CLIFFORD M. COLWELL holds BS and M.A. degrees in vocational agriculture trom Sam Houston. As Alvin's new ag teacher, he sponsored the FFA, and was also a senior sponsor. O. T, ESARKER, industrial teacher, holds degrees from East Texas State College and Texas ASM. For recreation, Mr. Bar- ker likes fishing, bowling, or playing golf. MISS BARBARA BIGGERS, a i957 graduate ot the University ot Texas, chose Alvin for her 'First year of teaching. As girls' P.E. instructor, she also sponsored the Jackettes, the cheerleaders, and girls' intramurals. fs!
