Xl Class of '68 Learns During the sophomore year, students broaden their fields of knowledge. In a full academic schedule, the sophomores begin studies in new and varied subjects. Their first year of a specialized science introduces them into the biological as- pects of life. In lab sessions the text is supplemented with various experiments that help to give each girl a greater under- standing of life processes. A new form of mathematics, emphasizing abstract theory and logic, is presented to the girls. Classical literature is the main topic of study and discussion in sopho- more classes, and the girls, through the study of history, become aware of con- temporary governments in Europe, Asia, America. n A OLE! . . .
