Advanced biology and physics revealed the com- plex spectrum of natural and physical sciences, mathematical analysis devel- oped powers of logic and inductive reasoning. The civics course presented con- temporary problems, offering a deeper understanding of the government. English literature emphasized the Anglo-American heritage. Religion lV stressed the commitment of the Catholic woman to the Second Covenant. Electives supplemented the daily curriculum. Homemaking, a senior elective, presented the various aspects of designing and maintaining a home.
