DECA hosts unique seminar for retailers Former Distributive Education Clubs of America hosted a get- acquainted party for new mem- bers in September. Distributive Education Clubs of America Altus Chapter also spon- sored a special seminar for store owners and employees concerning retail shoplifting. Mr. Roy Peters of the Marketing Institute Division of Distributive Education conducted the seminar. The Altus Chapter made a survey to enable local business firms to serve the customers of this com- munity better. Distributive Education Clubs of America members became in- volved in operation Santa Claus, taking up a collection of toys and money for the needy. Distributive Education Clubs of America Altus Chapter attended a conference held at Tulsa for the training of district officers. 1.
