To the Class of '57 Recently I have observed a national consciousness of the need for conservation of our natural resources with which God has so abundantly blessed our nation. Along with this awareness comes a reali- zation that our youth constitutes our most precious natural resource. This human resource is also being wasted in that individuals are not utilizing their greatest potential abilities and apti- tudes. In this time of critical need for trained manpower, I earnestly pray that each of you in the Class of 1957 will have the vision, the wisdom, the courage to con- tinue to fully develop and wisely use every talent with which you are endowed.
