Proceeds of various after-school dances were contributed to the Red Cross, War Relief, and other similar organizations. The issuing of identification tags in case of air raids was another project. If you thrilled to the reception given Janet Blair tl.,al'- fertyl, you have the Student Senate to thank for arranging it. Perhaps you lost a gym bag. a glove, or a prxcketbookwchances are it turned up in the 'aluost and Foundwg or it may be that you gleaned information at the annual College Night concern- ing the school that you wish to attend next yearg or you may have given food for your admission to a dance and at the same time helped some less fortunate family have a better Christ- mas-just three more of the worthy doings of this organization. The Senate members representing the classes, four in number, are selected in their sophomore year and continue until they are graduated.
