AAR. E. AA. LEAAAON, Assistant Superintendent Good judgment is one of the basic ingredients of suc- cess. Those who use it wilt be our leaders of tomorrow. Those who do not use it will blame society for their misfortune. AAR. AAACY PRUITT, Administrative Assistant in charge of Junior and Senior High School Curriculum. It has been said that an humble person can learn some- thing worthwhile from every person he meets. I challenge you to try it! AAR. C. R. During nearly 200 years of existence, our country has faced many serious problems. They have been solved, however, because the people have been interested in good government, high moral standards, religion, educa- tion, good home environment, and national welfare. Today our problems concern law and order, integra- tion, and equal opportunities for all citizens regardless of race or religion. These problems, too, will be solved because the vast majority of the citizens of the United States desire what is best for all of the people. In a few years you must accept responsibility, deter- mine policy, and provide leadership. You must be inter- ested in the future because that is where you will spend the rest of your life. You can make it as challenging or as discouraging as you wish. What type of world do you want for your family? If you are adequately prepared and willing to participate as an active citizen, the future will be better than the past. J. B. Johnson, Ed. D. Superintendent of Schools
