Our Board of Education Without a doubt the members of the Board of Education of the Alton Community Consolidated High School exemplify “Not for Self—But for Others” in the services they render to this community. Few of us are able to realize how much time, labor, and patience are given by the members of the Board of Education in the up-keep and operation of our school. The new high school stands as a most fitting marker of work well done. As the years roll by the names of the members of our present Board of Education may be, more or less, forgotten.
