Coming From the Past ... Plaid dresses, peter-pan collars, and girls ' P.E. jumpers? Does this sound like the Althoff we know? Not to me or any other Althoff student. Today ' s fashions completely surpass the bell- bottom pants or stripe-plaid combinations of the 60 ' s. In fact, Althoff students are probably one of the most fashion conscious yet laid-back student groups in the city. One has simply to glance down a hallway to see girls clad in designer sweaters and shirts and boys in polo tops and socks. But, although the every¬ day visitor might label Althoff students as vain or superficial, by taking a deeper look he would see students with monumental ideas and uplifting dreams which will someday shape our soci¬ ety. One day these students will solve the problems of the home¬ less, the polluted environment, and the depleting ozone layer. These students are the future, and in my eyes, the future looks very bright!
