Hearts at Althoff did not grow cold with the No¬ vember weather. The month began with a volleyball marathon organized by the Spanish Club to benefit Michelle Cate who suffers from a rare skin disease. The following week, the annual Althoff Benefit Ban- quet raised funds for the school. Sherlock Holmes amazed all by solving his famous case, THE HOUND TKTaJ OF THE BASKERVILLES, for the Fall Play on the 9th jg J and 1 Oth. November also saw the beginning of a new tradition when the first annual calendar drive proved successful. Two major interests of Althoff students — were recognized during the month at the Choral Concert and the Fall Sports Banquet. The athletes again came into view with the start of the wrestling season and the opening of the basketball season which was signaled by the Tip-Off Dance. The month went out in the same good-natured way it began as the entire school participated in the Thanksgiving mass celebrated by Bishop Keleher. Both teams anticipate the results of the shot.
